Tickets are now on sale for the Apr. 7 Arena Racing Company Middleham Open Day, a charity event to raise money for Racing Welfare. Trainers Karl Burke, Charlie Johnston, James Horton, Ben Haslam, Foulrice Park Racing, Jedd O'Keeffe, Micky Hammond, and Neil Mechie are all committed to opening their doors to the public. Visitors will look behind the curtain of some of North Yorkshire's most distinguished racing yards. Most yards will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Karl Burke's yard opening at 10 a.m. There will also be activities to follow on Middleham's Low Moor. Tickets are £10 for adults and £6.50 for concessions purchased prior to Feb. 16. Visitors 15 and under are free.
